Asia in a Page

Hi, I'm Asia. Pronounced just like the continent (people have messed it up before), and I'm a twenty-three-year-old recent Film & Television graduate, a novel writer, screenwriter, and aspiring filmmaker.

I've relied on my creativity to help get me through a lot of things. Classes, presentations, life. Writing stories is something I've done since I knew how, and the passion continued through high school and university. It was a key contributor in why I studied film -- I had the chance to bring some of my ideas to life, or write for others and see their concepts on bigger screens. I've made a demo reel to show the various short films and other projects I worked on.

 

Currently, I'm living the post-grad life of assisting on production sets, working as an extra, and developing my own projects. One of them is my novel, which has been a concept I've worked on since high school, and is approaching its final stages. My goal is to publish it toward the end of 2026 and debut it as my first novel.

In the past, I did graphic design, and I enjoy taking photos of nice things I see, whether it be on phone or through professional cameras. As of late, I've been working on developing my blog page.

I'm a former division 1 track and field athlete, and I continue living an active lifestyle beyond it. I love watching track, basketball, hockey, learning languages (shoutout to my 500+ day Duolingo streak), listening to various types of music, and watching new movies and shows on Netflix!
